We hired Damian to capture our beautiful memories on our wedding day last month. He absolutely smashed it out the park! The photos came out incredible, more than we could have imagined. Damian was very friendly with all my family and guests, and also very professional. Everyone can get nervous infront of a camera, but Damian made me and my husband feel so at ease and made the experience comfortable for both of us. Before the wedding I gave Damian a list of shots I would like to be taken, he didn’t miss one thing off the list, in fact there was even more than I asked for. From small details, to group shots he didn’t miss a thing. He made our day run so smoothly, always knew what to say and do at the right times. He went above and beyond for us. I received a few preview pictures the day after the wedding and got sent the full album 2.5 weeks after the wedding which was incredible. Damian, we can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for us, we have photos that are timeless and will last us a lifetime. All the best Mr & Mrs Powell 🥂

Damian, where do we start. You were fantastic, before the day we had several zoom calls to get to know each other and learn about what was most important to us, to learn every detail of the day & to put us at ease for any stresses that we had regarding the photography on the day. Then on the big day, it was like meeting an old friend! You captured everything and more, yet we felt we hardly saw you! The way you worked in the shadows yet finding the perfect angles and shots was nothing short of mystical! Always smiling, always laid back yet always there to capture the most genuine smiles and reactions! Just to add on, we received endless comments on the day and afterwards from all our guests, young and old, about how incredible you were. You were especially a hit with the ladies, something along the lines of ‘very easy on the eye and a pleasure to look and smile at!’ The final photos are exceptional, incredibly professional. We couldn’t be any more pleased that chose you for our special day. Thank you again for your hard-work on the day, the wedding shots, the several photoshoots with smoke bombs, champagne showers & the sunset scene up by the castle on the hill. Lots of love always!

Where do I start?! Class bloke from the first zoom meeting to the last photo that we actually took with him on the dance floor. Damian was part of our day and did a amazing job of herding us all up. Myself and my husband are probably too laid back and don’t know what we want half the time but Damian took photos that just sum us and the family up. He made me feel very comfortable when doing the bridal shots, I was boarder-line breakdown nervous and he calmed me down. Our family felt at ease and he came and danced with us at the end of the night. Top bloke and the photos were second to none, hand on heart couldn’t recommend him enough, do yourselves a favour and get him at your wedding.

Damian was our photographer for our wedding at Rudding Park, October 2024. Damian was thorough, discreet, professional, kind, a fantastic photographer. We met with Damian over videocalls before the wedding and he was open and clear about his packages. Damian put us all at ease on the wedding day and took the perfect mixture of posed and candid pictures. We got a selection of photos a couple of days later, with the full album online to view within a couple of weeks. The photos are professional, high quality and absolutely perfect. We cannot recommend Damian enough.

Damian was with us majority of the day. He went the extra mile from the beginning, ensuring that both parties and guests felt at ease. He was fun, relaxed and professional. We knew straight away from the portfolio of previous work that Damian could take the kind of photographs we wanted, and after the initial meeting we were certain that we had found somebody professional, genuine, kind and fun who would really listen to our priorities. The wedding day itself was really busy for us as bride and groom, but DS Photography's photos captured hundreds of beautiful and special moments which enable us to now relive the day slowly and enjoyably. My new husband and I were both scrolling through Hitched separately when we came across Damian at DS Photography. We both said we loved his style of photography and his pictures were stunning! Thankfully Damian was available for our wedding as we booked quite far in advance and all communication with him was effortless. He was always there to answer questions. Our pre-wedding zoom call was a great chance to get to know him a little and see what energy he’d bring to our day and he told us he’d be bringing a second shooter so all prep could be captured. On the day of our wedding, Damian and the second shooter arrived at the agreed time and also had a little gift for me and my husband-to-be which I think was a lovely little touch! I had made a small ‘shot list’ of pictures that I really wanted taken on the day and I got every single one of them plus hundreds more that I’m absolutely obsessed with! Damian went out of his way to capture the best moments of our day and I am forever grateful. I cannot speak more highly of Damian and would always recommend him to anyone. We received sneak peak pictures within 48hrs and our whole wedding album back within 3 weeks! (We were previously advised we’d have our pictures in 4-10 weeks) Thank you again Damian for all your hard work and for capturing our magical day. 10/10 would 100% recommend!

Damian photographed my wedding on 28th October 2021 and he was absolutely incredible. He had some wonderful ideas for different types of photos and made sure to photograph everyone at our day, whilst also taking photos of people who requested them. He blended into the background in order to get natural-looking photos which was what I'd always dreamed of. Lots of people came up to my husband and I during the day to tell us how great they thought Damian was, and letting us know they'd had a chat with him and that he was lovely. Damian wasn't supposed to be our original photographer, but I am sooo glad he was. He provided a fantastic service, was funny, polite and professional, and really captured the moments of our day that were important to us perfectly. I had the photos back to me in a matter of weeks, and i was unbelievably impressed. My husband and I aren't ones for having photos taken and often get uncomfortable infront of a camera, but you'd never know that looking at the pics as they are stunning. He really went out of his way to bring my vision to life, and I will treasure the photographs he took forever. Honestly can't recommend him enough.

Damian was an excellent photographer at our wedding and was fantastic at getting the best out of everyone, for the group shots particularly. It was much more fun than the standard wedding photography shoot, and we were very happy with the photos afterwards. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for high quality photography and a fun friendly photographer.

The best photographer you could want on your wedding! Damian was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. He literally didn’t stop for the full day running around trying to capture every moment he could. He was so helpful and friendly by the end of the day I forgot he was even our photographer and thought he was one of my guests I’d known for years! Nothing was too much trouble for him and you can clearly tell he is passionate about his work and wanted to make the best memories for us.
