Pheasantry Brewery Wedding – Stacey & Daisy’s Beautiful December Wedding
Stacey and Daisy’s Pheasantry Brewery wedding was one of those winter wedding days that felt full of warmth from start to finish. It took place on 6th December 2025, and even though it was properly cold outside, the whole day had such a fun, cosy and emotional atmosphere that nobody could miss the magic of it.
From the red festive robes in the morning, to the Christmas styling in the ceremony room, to the sparkler exit later in the evening, this was a wedding that fully leaned into the season in the best way. It felt joyful, personal and full of character, which made it such a lovely one to photograph.
A relaxed winter morning at Broadgate Farm
The morning started just a minute or two away from the venue at Broadgate Farm, where both Stacey and Daisy were getting ready. The atmosphere from the start was exactly what you would hope for at a winter wedding morning with a big group of girls around – lots of laughter, plenty of prosecco, and that happy kind of chaos that somehow still feels under control.
The bridesmaids were all wearing matching red robes, which instantly gave the morning a festive feel. With seven bridesmaids in total, including Daisy’s mum too, there was plenty going on, but it never felt stressful. It felt lively, warm and fun.
Later on, Stacey’s dad and Daisy’s brother arrived too, which added another nice emotional layer to the morning.
Why Pheasantry Brewery works so well as a wedding venue
After the preparations, it was a really short drive over to the venue itself. One of the things that makes this place stand out is that it really is a working brewery, not just a venue with a brewery-style name. Pheasantry Brewery describes itself as a unique exclusive-use wedding venue, and it still operates as a brewery as well, which gives the whole place a lot more personality than a standard function room wedding.
The ceremony space has that barn-style feel, with a high ceiling and skylights running above the aisle, which brings in some really lovely natural light. On this particular day, the weather was cloudy, which actually helped a lot. If the sun had been blasting through the glass in the middle of the day, it could have been much harsher, but the overcast light kept everything soft and flattering.
From a photography point of view, it worked really well. If you are also looking at other characterful venues, you might enjoy this Deighton Lodge wedding barn.
A Festive Pheasantry Brewery Wedding Ceremony
The Christmas styling looked beautiful throughout the ceremony room. The aisle was dressed with artificial snow, little Christmas trees and seasonal touches, while the front ceremony area was decorated with evergreen branches, candles and pops of red that tied in perfectly with the brides’ flowers.
Both Stacey and Daisy carried red and white rose bouquets, and the bridesmaids had smaller white rose bouquets, which all worked really nicely with the winter theme.
Emotionally, the ceremony had a bit of everything. The girls chose to say their own private vows, and that definitely turned up the emotions in the room. There were moments where voices cracked, moments of laughter, and those little in-between expressions that always make a ceremony feel real rather than scripted.
That is always the part I enjoy most – when a ceremony feels personal enough that you can actually feel the relationship in it.
A beautiful wedding for the colder months
Because it was December, we kept the outdoor time short. It was not snowing and there was no heavy frost, but there was a sharp cold wind, and the girls definitely felt it. So after confetti and just a few quick family group shots, everyone was very happy to get back inside.
That is one of the reasons this kind of venue works so well for a winter celebration. Pheasantry Brewery offers a lot of atmosphere indoors, so even when the weather is cold, the day still feels full and beautiful. The venue itself talks about its gorgeous interior barn setting for ceremonies, and that really suits winter weddings when couples want something cosy and inviting without relying too much on outdoor space.

Quick portraits and warm indoor moments
During cocktail hour, I managed to steal Stacey and Daisy away for a few quick portraits outside the venue. It really was just a few, because the temperature made anything longer feel like a bad idea, but even with only a short amount of time we got some lovely images.
Even in cold weather, relaxed portraits can still work beautifully when the couple trusts the process and keeps things simple. If that is something you worry about, you can read more about how to look natural in wedding photos.
The rest of the day stayed focused indoors, and honestly that suited this wedding well. Once everyone was back inside, we had speeches, food and all the lovely candid moments that come from guests warming up, relaxing and properly settling into the celebration.
Christmas details, red roses and winter styling
This wedding had a really clear festive look without feeling overdone. There was a full-size Christmas tree in the reception space, the cake table followed the same red-and-white styling as the flowers, and the whole room carried that cosy December wedding feel right through the day.
The cake itself was decorated with red roses, and alongside it were mini cupcakes, cake pops and doughnuts, all styled to match the same colour palette. It all tied together really well and made the whole reception feel polished but still fun.
If you are looking for inspiration for a festive wedding without going too cheesy, this was a lovely example of how to do it well.
Sparklers, dancefloor fun and a strong finish
Once it got dark, we headed outside for a sparkler exit, which worked really well and gave the evening a fun lift before the party carried on inside. It is a simple idea, but when guests are up for it, it always adds a bit of extra energy and gives you something visually different from the rest of the day. Winter weddings are actually a great time for sparkler exits too, because it gets dark much earlier, so you do not have to wait until really late in the evening. It also usually means guests are still nicely gathered together and a little easier to organise before the dancefloor gets too wild.
Later on came the cake cutting, first dance and then a really lively dancefloor. People were properly enjoying themselves, and some guests were even wearing heart-shaped glasses with the brides’ names on them, which was a fun little detail.
Before I packed up, I took Stacey and Daisy out once more into the garden, where there is a wooden pergola. I set a flash behind them and created one final portrait there in the dark, which gave us something a little more dramatic to finish the gallery with.
Final thoughts on this Pheasantry Brewery wedding
Stacey and Daisy’s Pheasantry Brewery wedding was joyful, emotional and full of festive personality. It had everything a good December wedding should have – warm indoor atmosphere, seasonal styling, personal vows, fun evening moments and a crowd who were clearly ready to celebrate properly.
It also showed why this venue works so well for couples planning a winter wedding. Between the brewery setting, the barn-style ceremony room and the cosy indoor atmosphere, it is a venue that feels different in a really good way. Pheasantry Brewery presents itself as a unique exclusive-use wedding venue, and this day was a great example of how well that works in practice.
