The greenery, water features and open views gave us lots of variety without needing loads of walking or time away from guests. That is always a big win. Couples usually want beautiful portraits, but they also want to enjoy their drinks reception, spend time with guests and actually live their day. As the day moved into the evening, the atmosphere shifted into party mode, but it still kept that same warm and personal feel. One lovely part of Jenna and Carl’s wedding was the music from Ian Lawton, which added even more atmosphere to the celebration and helped make the evening feel even more memorable. He brought a great energy to the day and gave everyone even more reason to enjoy themselves.
Later on, as the sun started to dip, Jenna and Carl took a few quiet moments away from the crowd. Those short little pockets of time are often when some of my favourite images happen. The light softens, the pace slows down for a minute, and couples finally get a chance to breathe and be together.
